Greek women

One of the widest subject about Greece are women are their relation to men.

Greek women are most of all... hmm... Convinced about their infallibility on every subject ever existed.
Futhermore, men let them think it is true (!), whereas in Poland the situation is in most of the cases exactly opposite. It might be a great experience for all of women from slavic countries to go there, observe for a while greek women and men arguing. In most of the cases he is watching football, while she is yelling at him. As a bystander of many of such arguments, I can admit that significant here is the fact that the guy does not even listen what it is about (Panatinaikos is playing with Olipiakos at the time!), he turns his brain on only for her 'conclusions' to repeat them after and add the beggining: "I'm sorry for...".
And you know what the best of this is? Women buy it. Every. Single. Time.

Geiasou! (Hi!)

As I promised, this post will be about nutrition behaviours of greeks.
In the previous postst I wanted to proof that sterotypes should not exist as a main determinant of evaluation of people.

Well, this time it is different.

Every Pole would agree on a statement "Every Greek eats olives and feta cheese"
And when one comes there, it stops to be a sterotype and turns into the truth. Greeks eat vast amounts of those foods. Generally, greeks eat vast amount of food.
Tip for all of you: while ordering in a restaurant: NEVER LET A GREEK TO ORDER. Especially when dinner is on you. Greek people order countless amount of food while keep telling you that you have to try literally EVERYTHING. Our polish attitude is to try one dish, and, because of our inborn greed, eat it even if it is disgusting.
Greek has to try (of course not eat, which may be impossible) almost all main dishes in menu. Watch out ;)

Their favourite food is so-called greek salad. Olives, olive oil, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber and feta cheese. Differences between ours "greek salad" and real one: feta cheese fresh, in addition quite hard. Olives fresh, with seeds in it. Real olive oil, not (!) oil with packed instatnt sauce. This is greek salad from Greece. I'm not going to mention ingredients of ours, because I'm aware that everybody already knows them.

Do you like french fries? In Greece you it is served with mayonnaise. And I'm leaving it with no further comment.

Enjoy! :)
